Online training provider will debate the growing importance of analytical skills and how training can impact productivity
Personalized online training specialists Filtered will be joining the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) at their latest London Branch meeting at London South Bank University on Monday 4th April.
The event will see Filtered Head of Content and Science, Chris Littlewood, speak about the impact training can have on staff productivity and proficiency, and how benchmarking staff is imperative in addressing any skills gaps organisations may have.
Filtered have a long standing relationship with the IFA, who use their online courses to train their members in key business and IT skills. Ahead of his session Chris commented: “Training your workforce in the key skills relevant to their job role is essential. A report that we commissioned in 2015 showed that 60% of UK workers need key workplace skills to perform their roles effectively yet only 25% receive the training needed. There’s been plenty of other reports about the skills gaps and lack of productivity amongst the modern UK workforce and we believe that a personalized approach to training can close the gap.”

The consequences of spreadsheet error are always significant and can be catastrophic. But the risk can be mitigated by targeting training at the relevant skills.”
The event will also see Greg Tallents of London South Bank University speak on the use of social media in the professional workplace.
