What Google can't do: Filtered to run learning personalisation workshop at eLN Connect

Award-winning provider of online training solutions, Filtered, will host seminar on personalisation and business performance in the 'Making a Difference' stream at what is expected to be the biggest eLearning Network conference to date: eLN Connect in London on 10th November.
How does corporate L&D not only co-exist with Google, YouTube and everything else in what Elliott Masie has called the 'learning panorama' - but actually go one step beyond it? Facing an overwhelming amount of content and the expectation of personalization, are we doomed to imitate what we can't beat?
Toby Harris, Solution Architect at Filtered, will address these questions in a 30-minute session (Personalizing for business performance - what Google can't do) at the eLN Connect London meeting on 10th November.
This interactive workshop will evaluate when external consumer sites are useful for organisational learning - and when they aren't. Provocatively, it proposes that we have far more power to personalize this panorama for workplace performance than we think.
As an example, Toby will introduce a new learning recommendation engine: the Global Filter. This plug-and-play tool arranges and connects content to learners based on role, career aspirations and organisational priorities.
More information about the Global Filter and Filtered's unique approach to pinpointing skills gaps, minimising training time and increasing workforce productivity, will be available from the Filtered team on its stand at the eLN Connect conference or by contacting Filtered on firstname.lastname@example.org and +44 (0)20 7729 9043.

Filtered is an award winning online training platform which personalizes learning material for each user. By asking users questions about their role, aspiration and proficiency, the platform’s machine learning algorithm is able to pinpoint skills gaps and filter out material that the user doesn’t need or already knows. This minimises time spent training, maximises the impact of learning and increases productivity. This approach of pinpointing skills gaps across a portfolio of core skills means that 97% of material covered in a Filtered course is relevant to the learner.
