Kineo’s VP of Learning Design, Cammy Bean, named Chair of ASTD TechKnowledge® 2012 Conference Program Advisory Committee
Chicago, IL » 22 Sep 2011 » Training Press Releases » Kineo
ASTD TechKnowledge happens January 25-27, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. It’s for anyone involved in elearning, mobile learning, and social learning, whether you’re involved in the design, delivery, or management of learning initiatives.
Cammy served as a PAC Committee member for TK 11, and was
honored to have been selected as this year's chair. "It's been
great working closely with other committee members to review
speaker proposals and start building a fabulous conference agenda.
Linda David, Manager of Conference Programming at ASTD really knows
how to pull people together and juggle the many balls that make up
conference planning."
This year's conference theme: Learning Technology Applied. Cammy
says, "This year's committee really took that theme to heart.
As we met for initial planning sessions, we tried to keep that
focus on application - how elearning practitioners can transfer
these topics into what they actually need to do to meet their
organization's needs."
This year's conference features over 80 sessions, organized around
Conference Tracks to meet the needs of participants at various
stages along the elearning maturation continuum. These tracks
include: E-Learning Design, Implementing Learning Technologies,
Implementation Strategies, Platforms & Authoring Tools, Next
Generation Technologies and Virtual Delivery &
Facilitation.
Over 1,200 e-Learning Professionals are expected to attend. We
hope you will too!
