Brighton, UK » 09 Jan 2012 » Training Press Releases » Kineo
Kineo and Tesco are leading a free seminar at Learning Technologies on Totara LMS. The seminar will provide an update on Totara and demonstrate through a case study how the LMS has been deployed at Tesco.
Totara, a version of Moodle for enterprises, has proved incredibly popular since its launch at last year’s Learning Technologies. Over 80 clients have selected Totara so far, including Tesco, Vodafone Ireland, Logica and Michelin China, and a major new release is being launched in the first quarter of 2012. In the seminar Steve Rayson from Kineo will provide an update on the latest Totara developments.
Jane Williams from Tesco will also provide a case study on how the new learning platform was implemented and how it is being rolled out in phases to more than 400,000 staff.
The open source LMS has reduced Tesco’s costs significantly, over £1m in year one, and also delivered on the promise of ease of use, sophisticated learning management and an engaging learner experience.
The seminar will take place on the first day of the Learning Technologies event, the details are:
Date: Wednesday 25th January
Time: 11.00 - 11.30am
Location: Theatre 3, Exhibition Floor
