Real learning takes place beyond the classroom, debates ILX Group at Learning Technologies and Learning Skills 2012

London » 25 Jan 2012 » Training Press Releases » Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills Exhibitors

ILX Group, the leading provider of Portfolio, Programme & Project Management, IT Service Management, Business Financial Literacy and Implementation Consulting, will be attending Learning Technologies 2012 on 25th and 26th January at the London Olympia, and hosting a seminar focusing on the need for businesses to adopt a more innovative and long term approach to professional business learning.

Eddie Kilkelly, Chief Operating Officer at ILX Group, commented, “Over a million people worldwide have qualified in methods like the Cabinet Office’s PRINCE2, and yet despite this we are still wasting many trillions of dollars each year on failed projects which no one can afford to do, especially during these tough economic times. But the answers are surprisingly simple. Embedding both the processes and the skills within the workplace takes more than just a classroom training event; it requires a programme of ongoing support post training, to ensure the lessons learnt are implemented successfully.”

ILX Group believes that organisations are increasingly discovering the benefits of continued support for their accredited staff alongside structured and comprehensive organisation-wide implementation of the methods involved. Once these improvements have been made, ILX Group can assist companies in obtaining formal recognition of skills and capabilities which can help to differentiate them from the competition.

Eddie Kilkelly, will host a seminar on the 26th January, and will be speaking about how an organisation can experience increased efficiency and an improvement in their return on investment through the implementation of bespoke training programmes, alongside a performance measurement plan.

The seminar will be held on the 26th January at 11 – 11:30 am, in Theatre 4. To find out more about professional business learning and post training support, visit the ILX Group stand at number 73, level 1.
