How to build a mobile app in 15 minutes
Brighton, UK » 10 Jan 2012 » Training Press Releases » Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills
A team from the e-learning business, Epic, is presenting at the forthcoming Learning Technologies exhibition on 25 and 26 January in London on how to develop a mobile learning app.
In this seminar, which runs at 11.45 on 25 and 26 January in theatre 3 on the Learning Technologies exhibition floor, the Epic team will build a mobile app using their GoMo Learning authoring tool and present the key facts about how to create great-looking and cost-effective mobile learning apps that can be designed once and delivered across multiple platforms.
The Epic team comprises CEO - Jonathan Satchell, Head of Mobile Learning - Marcus Boyes and Senior Designer - Ruth Haddon. The team recently won a gold award for ‘Best use of Mobile Learning’ in the E-learning Age Awards and together they will attempt to build a mobile app in front of a live audience at Learning Technologies 2012... in only 15 minutes.
The presentation will also include a showcase of mobile learning apps that Epic has developed for its clients and a discussion on the key considerations when designing learning for mobile devices, including how to create e-learning and mobile learning at the same time and the differences, advantages and disadvantages of web apps versus native apps.
Epic’s seminar is one of 120 free-of-charge seminars taking place across nine seminar theatres at the Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills events on 25 and 26 January. The full programme of seminars is available online:
