CloserStill Media, the London-based exhibition and conference organiser, has announced the acquisition of iLearning Forum, France’s premier e-learning technologies event for an undisclosed sum.
CloserStill, recently ranked No 10 in the Sunday Times International FastTrack 200 of the UK’s fastest growing exporters, will incorporate iLearning Forum into its launch of Learning Technologies France exhibition and conference to be held on January 23rd and 24th 2018 at Espace Champerret in Paris.
Learning Technologies France is a sister-event of Learning Technologies, Europe’s largest and best attended event for the workplace learning sector held in London which draws in more than 7,500 visitors and 250 exhibitors.
Commenting on the acquisition and the launch plans for Learning Technologies France, CloserStill’s Learning Group Director, Mark Penton, said: “We have long admired the development and growth of the iLearning Forum which has established itself at the forefront of the corporate learning market in France. We are delighted that we are joining forces with the organisers and its co-founders Sally Ann Moore and Anthony Rubbo to continue to grow this exciting and dynamic event.”
iLearning Forum co-founder Sally Ann Moore, who will continue to be involved in shaping the conference agenda for Learning Technologies France with CloserStill, added: “For years I have thought that Learning Technologies London was the best eLearning show on earth, it’s also the biggest. So today is like a dream come true – thanks to this deal with CloserStill Media, our Paris event can benefit from all the know-how, quality, resources and skill that has made Learning Technologies so brilliant. Thanks to this investment our joint French event will become world class very quickly.”
