Learning Technologies Show, Olympia, London: Conducted live at REDTRAY’s Cloud Lounge (stand 107) throughout the show, the REDTRAY Fast50 delivers the freshest thinking available anywhere at #LT12uk. New insights and opinion are gathered from 50 show visitors at random, analysed in minutes then published in seconds. Here's a rundown of yesterday's polling:
Snap shot survey three - Wednesday afternoon we asked 50 lt12uk visitors: ‘Do have plans to introduce tablet devices into the training mix?’
Less than 4 in 10 attendees questioned at the Learning Technologies Show this week say they have any plans to introduce tablet technology into their training mix.
Just over one in three (34%) of LT12uk visitors questioned, currently straight bat the technology and say they have no plans to adopt.
Just under one in three (29%) say they may bring tablets or iPads into the learning mix, but have no firm plans to do so yet.
Snap shot survey one - First thing Wednesday morning we asked 50 lt12uk visitors: ‘Where will you allocate the majority of your training programme spend in 2012?’
The largest group, 18%, said they would allocate the majority of their training programme spend to professional development programmes. 14% expect to prioritise their operation’s management and leadership programmes with a further 14% quoting sales training support as their priority area for 2012 spend. Product training was top priority for 13% of responders. Compliance training and IT training were the two areas least likely to be mentioned as priorities for training budget by LT12uk visitors participating in the REDTRAY Fast50.
Snap shot survey two – Wednesday lunchtime we asked 50 lt12uk visitors: ‘What will be your main training delivery method in 2012?’
On the job training is the most popular answer to this question at lt12uk and is the preferred delivery method for just over 30% of show visitors. Virtual Classroom, the preferred choice of just over 27%, comes second, followed by blended learning, which is the best delivery option for over 1 visitor in 5. On it’s own (without being part of a blended learning approach) few people attending lt12uk this week still believe that e-learning (12%) or classroom based training (10%) is really effective in isolation.
