Transition migrates its market-leading training commerce solution to the cloud

Transition, a leading provider of e-learning products and services, has redeveloped its dedicated web commerce solution to exploit the power, resilience and cost savings associated with cloud computing.

The new version of Transition’s Web Commerce for E-learning has been developed in response to demand from Transition’s current customers as they adopt cloud computing as part of their technology strategies. The resulting cloud version of Web Commerce for E-learning is hosted via the industry-leading Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2).

By using EC2, Web Commerce for E-learning can scale rapidly to massive increases in demand while keeping running costs low.

This is great news for training organisations because it delivers an uninterrupted, reliable, secure service 24/7 for an e-commerce training website that can adapt quickly to changing requirements – while keeping costs predictable.

Transition works with training providers to produce customised learning solutions that are easily accessible to the largest possible market via Web Commerce for E-learning.
