NCC Education and University of Huddersfield sign agreement
NCC Education
| Manchester, UK
6-Dec-2004 » Training Press Releases » NCC Education has linked with the University of Huddersfield to offer a computing degree for students worldwide who are keen to attain a British degree but who are not able to travel to the UK to study.
The final degree is awarded by British university, the University of Huddersfield, and delivered by NCC Education through its global network of accredited training centres.
The degree pathway will be unique in the NCC Education portfolio and will focus on Internet Systems. NCC Education centres accredited to run the programme can start recruiting in the New Year for the first intake that will start their studies in September 2005. The programme will be available to students who have completed NCC Education Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies.
“Today’s students are more ambitious than ever and their global outlook has led to an increasing number actively seeking degrees from world-leading universities in countries with globally-renowned education systems,” said NCC Education’s Director of Qualifications Dave Snow. “However, the high costs of studying overseas have traditionally prevented the majority of students from achieving degrees from foreign universities.”
“The solution for students who can not afford to study overseas is to study for an overseas university degree in their home country. By working in partnership with NCC Education universities, other qualification providers can provide students with access to degrees in their home countries.”
“NCC Education have extensive, proven experience of assisting qualification providers in reaching out to global markets. We have been managing the marketing and delivery of qualifications overseas for over 36 years and are trusted by universities, education centres, governments and students to facilitate high-quality education. We are pleased to be working with the University of Huddersfield on this current programme,” added Dave.
