Global Knowledge first to market with new Microsoft Windows Vista training courses

6-Oct-2006 » Training Press Releases » Global Knowledge, the world's largest independent IT Training company, has developed two new Microsoft Windows Vista training courses based on Microsoft's pre-release version of Windows Vista Release Candidate 1.
The training courses are called Migrating to Windows Vista and Implementing and Maintaining Microsoft Windows Vista. Both of the new Windows Vista training courses are five-day, intensive, hands-on courses held at Global Knowledge's UK training centres in London, Wokingham, Coventry and Wakefield as well as across Europe.
The first Implementing and Maintaining Microsoft Windows Vista training event takes place on 16 October in London. This training course covers the deployment, customisation and support of Microsoft Windows Vista in a networked Active Directory environment. It also covers configuring the new enterprise troubleshooting tools, Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) and remote administration.
Thomas Lee, Microsoft Chief Architect at Global Knowledge sees this as an important development for Global Knowledge and the early adopters of Windows Vista: "I am very excited about the two new Windows Vista training courses that we have developed. They are up to date with Release Candidate 1 today and we will be updating them for the Release To Manufacturing version as soon as we get the 'gold code'."
