11-Nov-2007 » Training Press Releases » My Performance Coach, a revolutionary computer-based coaching and mentoring application, has won the 'Most Innovative Application of Learning Technology' Award at the 2007 E-learning Awards, held in London on 8th November.
The judges were impressed by the ground breaking use of technology to support both human and business elements of performance, leadership and change processes.
In addition the significant results from the BT pilot and subsequent case study (see www.makingchangehappen.com) demonstrated the practical value created for personal development and growth.
Pictured here (l to r) are Nick Le Clère and Debbie Rawlinson from Making Change Happen and Rob Kheejoo from BT, who made some profound life changing decisions after using My Performance Coach®.
Making Change Happen's CEO, Nick Le Clère, whose original ideas around computer-based coaching led to the development of My Performance Coach®, acknowledged the compelling results from a pilot with BT and the people involved in the creation of the application. "Being recognised in this way, by thought leaders and peers from across the E-learning industry, is a vindication of the vision, commitment and dedication of the Making Change Happen team. It's a very prestigious Award to have won and we are delighted to be identified as leading innovators in this domain".
Citations from the 2007 E-Learning Awards judging panel about My Performance Coach included:
'Making Change Happen has set out to make e-learning that helps people change, by making them feel resourceful and getting them engaged in change.'
'A variety of approaches are built into the application giving it flexibility. It is very practical and personal. The use of multiple media to change moods, increasing optimism, is truly innovative, giving a very positive user experience.'
'This is a well thought out and well implemented application of appropriate technology in a learning area where little use has been made of technology to date'.
My Performance Coach® is a unique coaching application, which emulates the processes and methods of a top performance coach in performance, change management, well-being and leadership. My Performance Coach® connects personal values, beliefs, identities and purpose with organisational goals by influencing the adoption of powerful mindsets and emotions that directly govern 'high performance' behaviours and results.
Nick Le Clère was asked about the marketing strategy for My Performance Coach® and commented "Having completed several industry pilots, including the high profile pilot with BT, we are now actively looking for early adopter and exemplar client organisations, as well as channel partners, to take My Performance Coach® into the mainstream and make coaching and mentoring available to the masses".
