The Learning Practitioners' Association
2-Jun-2008 » Training Press Releases » TrainerBase, the Association for Learning Practitioners is now able to recommend Mike Morrison and Mike Mortby as a result of them successfully meeting the Standard for Learning Practitioners.
TrainerBase ran another Certified Learning Practitioner assessment workshop on 10th May. Mike Morrison and Mike Mortby both successfully completed their assessments; delivering real learning activities to a group of participants. Their assessment is the final step in becoming a CLP. Both Mike's gained hugely from the whole process which examined and evidenced their behaviours and competence against the Personal, Operational and Commercial Principles of the Standard.
Peter Mayes Chief Executive commented "It is great to have another 2 CLPs on board; TrainerBase is being asked more and more often to recommend trainers for a particular training programme; we now have a robust Standard in place and an accreditation that provides us with evidence of the application of knowledge
Anyone interested in finding out more about the significant benefits of becoming a CLP can attend a TrainerBase and CLP Introduction Day. These events, open to members and non members of TrainerBase include the features of TrainerBase and what being a CLP can offer. Participants take part in live assessments and evidence gathering workshops. The next event is to be held on 4th and 5th July at Staverton Park near Davetry. As places are limited to 20, individuals should register their interest at www.certifiedlearningpractitioner.com.
