The IT Training Industry's night of the year - The IT Training Awards - this Thursday

3-Feb-2010 » Training Press Releases » Tomorrow evening (Thursday 4th February) sees the Institute of IT Training's annual IT Training Awards ceremony, held at The Dorchester, London. The awards recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence within IT training and are now firmly established as the benchmark for excellence throughout the IT training industry.
The glittering event is to be hosted by Sky TV Breakfast presenter Lucy Alexander and will also include an address from a ChildLine representative as part of the IITT's auction to raise money for the charity which helps children who are in trouble or danger.
This year's awards have 14 categories, including 2 brand new categories: Learning Technologies Solution of the Year and Instructional Designer of the Year. Stephanie Dedhar from Saffron Interactive, who has been shortlisted in the instructional designer category, says 'It's an honour to be shortlisted for this award alongside candidates of such high calibre. We are all very much looking forward to the awards dinner and charity auction on 4th February.'

About the Institute of IT Training
The Institute of IT Training is a self-governing, not-for-profit professional body for training professionals. It was established in 1995 and since then has grown on an annual basis. In February 2010 the Institute completed a management buyout from membership and research organisation, the National Computing Centre and is now a self-governing body.
Today, the organisation has circa 3,500 individual members and 400 accredited corporate members.
