LINE launches new Web 2.0 learning portal
LINE Communications | London

4-Feb-2010 » Training Press Releases » LINE, the leading European provider of learning and communications solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of its Web 2.0 learning portal. This development marries LINE's road-tested LMS technology and content management platform, to provide the creation of online learning environments that put the learner at the centre of their experience.

Several client organisations are already benefiting from successful installations of the product, including BP, a2om, Leonard Cheshire, Changefirst and Tetra Pak.

This innovative platform provides an online programme orientated environment, which engages the learner in a range of structured and non-structured experiences. This enables them to both share and benefit from a community within their organisation as well as to receive e-learning courses.

The solution is available in two versions:

• A tactical solution which is appropriate for those taking a first step into elearning and seeking a simple elearning delivery system or not wishing to undertake a large scale strategic role-out.

• A bespoke portal, which LINE customises to align closely to complex or varied organisational or business requirements which are not satisfied by typical learning portals.

Starting from £5000, LINE can provide a simple (to the user) portal catering for up to 10,000 users providing delivery, tracking and reporting of elearning.

Paul Brown, LINE's Technical Director, says, "LINE's learning portal offers organisations a highly effective, low cost solution. The Portal has already met the needs of thousands of users, and offers clients a truly modular environment."
