LINE Communications
| London
25-Feb-2010 » Training Press Releases » LINE Communications, the leading provider of learning and communications solutions, is pleased to announce its support and sponsorship of a series of European events on the subject of learning, talent management and technology in Q1 and Q2 of 2010.
LINE is the acknowledged market leader in UK custom e-learning (BCS), and its event programme is indicative of the company's commitment to the development of technology-supported learning across Europe, through facilitating and informing knowledge sharing and debate.
The programme kicked off recently with LINE's sponsorship, for the second consecutive year, of the iVentiv Learning and Talent Executive Knowledge Exchange held in Brussels (see further details below).
LINE is also sponsoring the forthcoming HR Technology Forum on the 8-10 March in Brussels, the IVentiv Learning Technologies Executive Knowledge Exchange on the 24-25 March in Amsterdam and the Swiss E-learning Conference SeLC) on the 13-14 April in Zurich.
Steve Ash, Director of Sales and Marketing at LINE says, "We're delighted to be able to extend our support to iVentiv for this and other events across Europe in 2010. They provide a valuable forum within which to exchange knowledge and ideas and these contribute directly to our pan-European growth plans."
In addition to its programme of event sponsorships, LINE also runs roundtable Forum events in London and Zurich themed around significant issues in technology-supported learning and communications.
The February iVentiv event was a great success, attracting delegates from a wide range of sectors and countries including representation from Lufthansa, Volvo, NATO, BP, Hitachi, Toyota and the European Commission. Key themes that emerged were the changing face of leadership learning within organisations, the growing sophistication of blended learning as a means of dealing with talent issues at scale, and the need to link knowledge management and training systems. A full report is available on the headLINE blog at www.line.co.uk.
Russell Butler, CEO of iVentiv says, "iVentiv creates the most interactive, senior-level Learning & Development conferences within Europe. A key element in these Executive Knowledge Exchanges is the excellent contribution by Europe's leading solution providers, of which LINE Communications are a clear market leader and a great strategic partner for iVentiv."
