Dublin - 5 March 2003 - SmartCertify Direct, a division of SkillSoft and the leading provider of on-line certification training for the IT industry, announced today the release of its self-paced training course for the CompTIA Security+ title. SmartCertify's CompTIA Security+ training course has been recognised by ProCert Labs, the official review board for CompTIA, as meeting CompTIA Authorised Quality Curriculum Requirements (CAQC).

SmartCertify's course prepares candidates for topics covered on the certification exam, including general security concepts, communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography and operational security.
SmartCertify's CompTIA Security+ course includes hands-on interactive exercises that challenge candidates to perform practical tasks required in the work environment. Among other features, practice assessment tests are also included with the course. These tests allow candidates the opportunity to gauge their comprehension of security concepts as they progress through the course.
