Filtered, the online education platform which maximises the impact of business training by carefully selecting the content most valuable to each user, will be showcasing its platform at World of Learning 2014 next week. Visitors to the Filtered stand (C50) will be able to experience first-hand how the platform’s advanced algorithm customises learning material for each user by asking self-assessment, aspiration and competency-based questions to filter out anything a user doesn’t need, or already knows.

The syllabus is tailored by quantity and subject matter to focus entirely on the individual’s requirements for maximum learning impact.

Filtered currently offers modules in the essential business disciplines: Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Users are professionals including: office workers, retailers, freelancers, manufacturers, work-at-home parents, farmers, charity and hospital workers and many more.

Clients who have already used the Filtered platform to train employees include PwC, New Look, Regus and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

“We believe that the selection of appropriate educational material for each user is fundamental to effective learning. While mainstream online education is often adapted to the individual, there is currently little such innovation in corporate training. Filtered not only brings adaptive technology to the corporate training world, but also our unique emphasis on customised selection,” commented Marc Zao Sanders, Managing Director and co-Founder, Filtered.

“Filtered addresses each of the three key issues facing eLearning: adoption, engagement and impact. Smaller, more manageable chunks of learning improve adoption; customised content increases engagement, and intelligently prioritised material makes greater impact. Training time and unnecessary costs are thereby minimised, while the management dashboard enables the individual and L&D manager alike to track and report progress at any time,” continued Vinit Patel, Head of Product and co-Founder, Filtered.

World of Learning, the UK's most comprehensive event for all aspects of Learning and Development, will be at the NEC in Birmingham from 30 September to 1 October.
